This policy explains how innData Analytics Pvt Ltd (“innData”, “we”, “us”) handles personal data when you use this website or contact us. We are based in India, and we handle personal data in line with India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and other applicable law.

What we collect

What you choose to send us. The contact form and job application links on this site open your own email app. We only receive what you decide to send, which may include:

Your name and contact details
Your company and job title
Your enquiry, and any project details you include
Your CV and professional background, if you apply for a role

What our web server records. Like most websites, our hosting provider keeps standard server logs. These include your IP address, browser type, the pages requested and the time of the request.

What we don’t collect through this site. This website has no user accounts, no newsletter sign-up and no payments, and it does not ask for payment details.

Cookies and analytics

This website uses Microsoft Clarity to understand how visitors use it and to improve it. Clarity captures how you interact with our pages through behavioural metrics, heatmaps and session replays, including the pages you visit, clicks, mouse movements and scrolling. It uses cookies and similar technologies to do this, and your IP address to estimate your location. Text you type into form fields is masked. Recordings are kept for 30 days, except a random sample and any we mark as favourites, which can be kept for up to 9 months.

Microsoft also uses this data for its own purposes, which can include advertising and security. To learn more, read the Microsoft Privacy Statement. You can opt out by selecting Microsoft on the Digital Advertising Alliance opt-out page, or by turning on Global Privacy Control in your browser.

Apart from Clarity, the fonts and scripts on this website are served from our own website.

We won’t send you marketing unless you’ve asked us to.

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only when needed:

Service providers, such as our website hosting and email providers, who process it on our behalf
Microsoft, which receives website usage data through Clarity, as described under Cookies and analytics
Authorities, when the law requires it
A successor business, if innData is ever merged or sold, under the same protections

Where it is stored

Our service providers may store or process data outside India. Where they do, we rely on the protections they offer and comply with any restrictions set under Indian law.

How long we keep it

We keep personal data only as long as we need it for the purpose you shared it, or as long as the law requires. After that, we delete or anonymise it.

How we protect it

We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards, including encrypted connections to this website. No system is completely secure, so if a personal data breach occurs, we will respond and notify you and the authorities as the law requires.

Your rights

You can ask us to:

Tell you what personal data we hold about you and how we use it
Correct or complete it
Delete it, where we no longer need it or have no legal duty to keep it
Stop using it, if you gave consent and want to withdraw it

You can also nominate someone to exercise these rights for you if you are unable to, and raise a complaint with us. If you’re not satisfied with our response, you can approach the Data Protection Board of India.

Children

This website is meant for businesses and job applicants, and it isn’t directed at anyone under 18. If you believe a child has sent us personal data, please tell us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
